Lipe Village

The rooms at Lipe Village measure between 27 and 30 m², and most of them look out over the garden. Beds include double, queen and king options, and one room sleeps up to six guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and some rooms also have air conditioning, a desk, a mini bar and a refrigerator.

Lipe Village stands on Ko Lipe, a small island in the Andaman Sea off Satun province in southern Thailand. The last stretch of the journey is by boat, since the island has no airport. Once ashore, the village, the beaches and the ferry pier lie close enough to reach on foot, so the guesthouse is easy to use as a base for days on the sand and in the water.

Pattaya Beach is 250 m from Lipe Village, and the Walking Street, the busy lane of shops and eateries in the village, is the same distance away. The Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal, 350 m from the guesthouse, is where boats from the mainland arrive, and Sunrise Beach is 450 m away. Koh Adang, a neighbouring island in the Tarutao marine park, is 6.1 km away, and Trang Airport, on the mainland, is 118.9 km away.

A day could start with a walk to Sunrise Beach and Karma Beach, then a boat trip to Koh Adang or a snorkelling outing from the island's beaches. Hantalay Temple, a pagoda close to the village, is an easy detour on foot before a meal on the Walking Street. In the rainy months, sea conditions can affect boat trips, so it is worth keeping an eye on the water when planning the day.
