Lipe Power Beach Resort

The rooms at Lipe Power Beach Resort include two 32 m² rooms with garden views, a sea-view room, a 40 m² family room that sleeps up to four guests, a 36 m² double room with a queen bed and twin rooms with garden views or air conditioning.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms have air conditioning, a refrigerator, a mini bar and a fan, and some have private bathrooms with a shower, toiletries and a hair dryer. The 36 m² double room has air conditioning, a refrigerator and towels, and the family room offers a choice of bed set-ups.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor pool, a spa with sauna, a garden and a private beach. Diving, fishing, snorkelling and non-motorised water sports are offered, and tours can be arranged.

Dining includes restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop, BBQ facilities and happy hour, and food delivery is offered too. Guests can use the concierge, luggage storage, express and private check-in and check-out, and laundry and ironing services.

Daily housekeeping is offered, and a doctor or nurse is on call. English and Thai are spoken, and the resort has a smoking area. Internet access and Wi-Fi in public areas are also available. The smoking area is a separate space for guests who smoke.

Ko Lipe is a small island in the Andaman Sea, off Satun province in southern Thailand, and it has no airport, so most visitors arrive by boat from the mainland. The resort sits on Sunrise Beach, where it has its own private beach, and several beaches and bays lie within a few hundred metres, including Ao Khra and Ao Ta Lo So. The island suits a slow beach holiday rather than a busy sightseeing trip.

Sunrise Beach is 50 m away and Karma Beach is 200 m from the resort, and both are reached on foot. Walking Street is 850 m away, and the Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal, where boats from the mainland arrive, is 900 m away. Hantalay Temple, a pagoda in the village, is 700 m away and makes a short walk from the beach.

Guests can go snorkelling, diving or fishing from the resort, and Koh Adang, a neighbouring island reached by boat, makes a day out for guests who want to see more of the Andaman coast. Tours can also be arranged, and the beach in front of the resort is the simplest way to spend a quiet afternoon. Visitors who want a quiet day can stay on the sand near the resort.
