Lipe - Bloom Cafe and Hostel

The rooms at Lipe - Bloom Cafe and Hostel are dormitory places and private rooms, and the rooms have a city view. Ko Lipe is a small island in Satun province, in the Andaman Sea off southern Thailand, and daily life here revolves around its beaches and the boats that link it to the mainland. The hostel is in the village area of the island, 200 m from Pattaya Beach and close to the Walking Street, a lane of bars, restaurants and shops.

The Koh Lipe Ferry Terminal, 300 m away, is where boats from the mainland arrive, so the pier is where the island's arrivals begin. Sunrise Beach and Sunset Beach are close by, and the island's beaches are the main draw for most of the people who come here. Koh Adang lies 6.1 km away across the water and is part of a national park. The nearest airport, Trang, is 118.9 km away on the mainland, so the last leg of the trip is by boat.

The beaches and the water are the main attraction on Ko Lipe. Snorkelling around the island is popular, and a boat trip to Koh Adang makes a good day out. In the evening, the bars along the Walking Street are a short distance from the hostel, so the day can end as easily as it began.
