Chumphon is also a stop many travellers make on the way south, with the Gulf islands reachable by boat.

Within a few hundred metres you will find Chumphon Night Market, the Bus Terminal and Choke Anan Bus Station, and the Chumphon train station is 700 m away. The town's railway heritage is on show nearby, with old locomotives set up as monuments, including Locomotive No.9 500 m from the hotel. The San Chao Kheng Chiu Kong To temple is also close, Arphakorn Kiattiwong Park is 900 m away, and the Chumphon National Museum is 3 km away.

For sea trips, the port of Pak Nam Chumphon is the departure point for boats to Koh Tao, so the coast is a natural choice for a day out. Sea conditions can make the crossing rough during the rainy months, when boats may be cancelled. Most of the sights nearby are within a short walk of the hotel, though the museum is further out.
