Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park with stage shows, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples, are both reachable by car from the resort. Phuket International Airport is 13.3 km away and the island is reached by road, so a car or taxi is the usual way to get around. Big Buddha Phuket, a large Buddha statue on a hilltop, is 18.4 km from the hotel and is worth combining with a visit to Wat Chalong. In the evening, Bangla Road and Patong can be reached by car for nightlife and shopping.
