Le Passe-Temps

Le Passe-Temps offers rooms with sea views, pool views and garden views, from a garden-view mini suite and doubles to family suites and a family bungalow. Several rooms have a private bathroom, and rooms can have individual air conditioning, an in-room safe box, linens, bathrobes, a hair dryer, toiletries and a coffee or tea maker.

The Superior King Room has sea views and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and the Pool Suite has a pool view and a bathtub. The Sea Side Family Bungalow measures 56 m² and has air conditioning, a shower and a window. The Family Suite measures 55 m² and has a balcony and a mini bar.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, a spa with a sauna and massage, a fitness centre, a solarium and a yoga room. There is also a badminton court, a games room, a library and a garden.

Guests can use the private beach and rent watersport equipment, and boating, canoeing, diving, fishing and snorkelling are available from the hotel. There are restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop and a snack bar, and breakfast can be Asian, buffet or continental, with BBQ facilities as well.

Le Passe-Temps is in Ban Tha Len, on the coast of Krabi province, a landscape of limestone cliffs, mangrove channels and offshore islands. Bays and small islands break up the coastline, and boats are the usual way to reach the offshore islands. A stay here centres on the hotel's own private beach, pools and spa, with the rest of the coast a boat trip or a drive away.

The beach town of Ao Nang, 15.5 km away, is the starting point for boat trips to the nearby islands, and it is a lively beach town with street-food stalls and shops. Railay Beach, 18.6 km away, can be reached only by longtail boat and is known for its cliffs and caves, with Phra Nang Cave on the same peninsula. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a Buddhist temple reached by a long climb up a stairway, stands on a hillside 20.6 km away.

A day could begin with a paddle through the Ao Thalane mangrove forest, 2 km from the hotel, followed by a longtail boat trip to Poda Island or the Hong Islands. The afternoon can be spent at the hotel's pools, spa or private beach, after a day on the water.
