Lanta Wild Beach Resort

Air conditioning is fitted in every room at Lanta Wild Beach Resort, and most rooms face the water, with sea views, ocean views or a beach view. Most rooms have a double bed, and the family room can be set up with two double beds or two single beds for up to four guests.

The 21 m² superior room has an ocean view and a flat-screen TV. The 20 m² Standard Air Bungalow has its own private entrance and a mosquito net. The 30 m² family room has a balcony, a seating area and a separate living room, and the 12 m² room has a sea view and sleeps up to four guests.

Dining options include a restaurant, a bar, BBQ facilities, 24-hour room service and a shared kitchen. Free parking is available, and Wi-Fi is free in all rooms. An airport transfer is also offered.

Baan Klong Khong is a stretch of Koh Lanta, a long island in Krabi province where the pace is slow and the beaches are the main draw. The resort sits in a quiet part of the coast, with small local eateries and shops along the road and the sea close by. Most days here revolve around the beach, with the island's old town and national park as the main trips further afield.

Klong Khong Beach is the closest beach, 50 m from the resort. Long Beach is 3.7 km away, and Lanta Old Town, the island's old town, is 7.3 km away. Koh Lanta is reached by boat from the mainland, so the last stretch of the journey is by sea, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park is 12.5 km from the resort. For getting around, the resort has car hire, bicycle rental and a shuttle service.

A first day could start on Klong Khong Beach and continue to Lanta Old Town, where the streets have local shops and eateries and the pace stays relaxed through the afternoon. A longer day could take in Long Beach and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a protected natural area, for a different side of the island.
