Koh Lanta is a long island in the Andaman Sea, off the coast of Krabi province, and the resort sits in the Klong Dao area. Klong Dao Beach, a sandy stretch 350 m away, is the closest beach to the resort, and a village is within walking distance of the rooms.

Kantiang Bay is 900 m away, a sandy bay further along the coast. The island's old town, Lanta Old Town, is 13.4 km away, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a cave in the island's interior, is 12.2 km away. Khlong Chak Waterfall and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, both 19.8 km away, take in the forested interior of the island and the marine waters around it.

Krabi International Airport is the nearest airport, and the last part of the journey to Koh Lanta is by boat, so allow for a crossing and for delays when the sea is rough. A day out to the waterfall or the national park pairs well with a beach day, and the old town gives a different side of the island. Ferry services can be disrupted by rough seas, so the crossing may take a different course on the day than planned, and it is worth keeping a flexible plan for the day.
