Lanta Miami Resort

The rooms at Lanta Miami Resort include bungalows and rooms, some with a view of the garden, the pool or the sea. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe, a refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker, and some have a bathtub.

The Deluxe Bungalow measures 40 m² and sleeps up to two guests with a king bed. The Family Pool Bungalow measures 45 m² and sleeps up to four guests in two double beds. The Superior Bungalow measures 32 m² and sleeps up to three guests, with a double bed and a single bed. Double-bed rooms are also offered, including a room with a partial sea view.

Lanta Miami Resort has an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a spa with massage and a sauna, and a solarium. Guests can also take part in snorkelling, diving and canoeing, while tours, bicycles and car hire are offered too.

For meals, the resort has restaurants, a bar, a coffee shop and room service, and there is also a halal restaurant. Buffet and continental breakfast are offered as well.

Klong Nin Beach is a beach on Koh Lanta, an island in the Andaman Sea that belongs to Krabi province in southern Thailand. The resort sits right on the coast, with the sand and the sea close enough to reach on foot, and the rest of the island is reached by road. Koh Lanta itself is reached by ferry from the mainland, so the last part of the journey is by boat. Nui Beach, 1,000 m away, and Klong Hin Beach, 1.9 km away, are other beaches close by.

Lanta Old Town, about 4.9 km away, is one of the island's oldest settlements, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 8.9 km away, covers beaches, forest and small islands offshore. Khlong Chak Waterfall is 8.8 km away, while Khao Mai Kaew Cave lies inland from the resort, and Khlong Khong Beach and Kantiang Bay are sandy coves further along the coast.

A full day could begin with a swim at Klong Nin Beach, then go on to Lanta Old Town to see the old settlement. The national park suits a half-day outing, and snorkelling and diving are offered through the resort. Back at the resort, the pools and the spa are an easy option after a day out.
