The nearest beach is Ba Kan Tiang Beach, 450 m away, and Nui Bay Beach, a little further, is 1.4 km off. The Relax Lanta Viewpoint looks out over the island. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 4.4 km away, is a marine and forest park with protected coastal areas, and Lanta Old Town, 4.6 km away, is the island's historic settlement. Khlong Chak Waterfall, 4.3 km away, is a natural stop inland. Taxi service and car hire are offered for getting around the island.

A good day starts on Ba Kan Tiang Beach, continues with diving or snorkelling, and ends with a drink at the resort's bar, or a meal at the restaurant or barbecue. For a change of scene, Mu Ko Lanta National Park is the place to go, reached by car or on foot, and the old town makes a good stop on the way back.
