Rooms at Lanta Hostel - Adult only are dormitory-style, and the bathrooms are shared, with showers and toiletries provided. Rooms can have air conditioning, linens, slippers, a microwave, wooden flooring and a clothes rack.

Lanta Old Town, the historic old town, is 8.6 km away, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park, which covers forest and sea areas, is 14.2 km away. Khlong Chak Waterfall is one of the island's inland sights, and Krabi Airport is 57.8 km away on the mainland.

A good day could start with a swim at Khlong Khong Beach, followed by a visit to Khlong Chak Waterfall, and the Monday Market is a local market to end the day. The Khao Mai Kaew Cave and Kantiang Bay can also be visited on a longer day trip. In the rainy season, rough sea can affect boat trips around the island.
