The rooms at Lanta Casuarina Beach Resort include garden-view and sea-view accommodation, villas of 39 m², and family rooms with queen beds. Bed set-ups vary from one room to another, with single beds, king beds, queen beds and double beds combined in different ways. Some rooms look onto the garden and others have a sea view.

Rooms can have a private bathroom with a shower or a separate shower and bathtub, a hair dryer, toiletries and towels. Rooms can also have satellite or cable channels, a telephone and a flat-screen TV, and, depending on the room, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, a mini bar, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace.

Behind the beach, the village of Phra Ae has small shops, guesthouses and restaurants along the road, and the area is a practical base for seeing the rest of the island by road.

Within a short drive lies Khlong Dao Muay Thai Stadium, 2.1 km away, a Muay Thai stadium on the island. Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 8.9 km away, a cave on Koh Lanta, and Lanta Old Town, the island's old town, is 10.5 km away. Car hire and bicycle rental are offered at the resort for trips around the island, and both suit a day spent exploring at your own pace.

A day trip to Mu Ko Lanta National Park, a marine park of islands and coastline, makes a change from the beach. In the rainy months the sea can be rough, and boat trips may be disrupted. Krabi International Airport is 55.2 km away on the mainland, and the last part of the trip to Koh Lanta is by boat.
