Lamai Resort

Lamai Resort has rooms for two guests and rooms for three, with bed set-ups that include a king bed, a queen bed, a double bed and single beds. The double room with a king bed, the queen room and the sea view bungalow each have a sea view and a balcony or terrace, and the rooms are set out for couples and small groups alike.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a shower, free bottled water, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Some rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups, and several of them sleep up to three guests, so the number of people in your group decides which room suits you best.

Lamai Resort has its own private beach, and it offers restaurants, massage, diving, fishing and snorkelling. A golf course is on site, and the resort also has car hire, a taxi service and a concierge. An airport transfer is offered too, and English and Thai are spoken at the resort.

Luggage storage and safety deposit boxes are available, and laundry and dry cleaning are also provided. Security is provided 24 hours a day, and there is a golf course within 3 km of the hotel in addition to the one on site.

Parking is free on site, with more parking nearby. Wi-Fi is also available in public areas, and internet services are offered alongside it.

Lamai is a beach area on Koh Samui, with a sandy bay lined with resorts, small restaurants and local shops. Lamai Beach is 100 m from the resort, and the area suits guests who want a beach holiday with a local market nearby and the rest of the island reached by road.

The Lamai Night Market, which sells street food and local goods in the evening, is 450 m away, and the Lamai Fresh Food Market is 550 m away too. Wat Lamai, a Buddhist pagoda, is in the area, and Silver Beach is a sandy beach reached by a short drive. The rock formations of Hin Ta and Hin Yai, known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks, are 2.5 km away. Samui Airport (USM) is 8.7 km away, and the road from the airport leads straight to the resort area.

A day could start on the beach at Lamai, then go on to the rocks at Hin Ta and Hin Yai and end at the night market. For an active morning, Jun Muay Thai Camp Lamai and Samui Bicycle Tours are both a short distance from the resort, and the small beach bars and restaurants along the bay make a relaxed evening easy to plan.
