Laemson Resort

The rooms at Laemson Resort look out over the sea, the garden or the beach, and each room has a double or queen bed. Some of the rooms are bungalows, with a sea view or a garden view.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, toiletries and towels. Air conditioning and fans are found in some rooms, and a few rooms have a flat-screen TV or an electric kettle.

Laemson Resort has restaurants, a bar, room service, a coffee shop, a snack bar and a happy hour, and guests can use BBQ facilities and a shared kitchen. The resort also has a private beach and a garden, and the garden and the terrace are part of the grounds.

For activities, the resort offers diving, snorkelling, canoeing, fishing, boating and non-motorised water sports, along with massage and tours. Car hire, a taxi service and a shuttle service are also offered.

Practical services include a laundry service, ironing, babysitting, luggage storage, currency exchange and a playground. Free parking is available on site, and there is Wi-Fi in public areas as well as in all rooms.

Laemson Resort is in Sri Thanu, a village on the coast of Ko Pha-ngan where a beach, a temple and a food market sit close together. Several yoga studios and healing centres are nearby, so wellness is part of daily life in this part of the island. The temple, the market and the nearest beaches are all within a few hundred metres of the resort.

Srithanu Beach is 50 m from the resort, with Ao Sri Thanu and Zen Beach also close by. Wat Sri Thanu temple is 500 m away, and Salad Beach is 3.1 km away. Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is 10.3 km away, so it is a longer trip for a day out. The island is reached by boat, since the nearest airport, Samui Airport, is 25.6 km away on Ko Samui; car hire and a taxi service are offered at the resort for getting around by road. The resort has its own private beach, so guests can swim there without going to the public shore.

A good day can start on the beach and continue to the Sunset Low Tide Viewpoint, a coastal spot for sunsets when the tide is low, and end at the village food market. In the rainy season, sea conditions can affect boat trips to and from the island.
