Laem Sila Resort

Rooms at Laem Sila Resort range from studios and suites to villas, several of them with ocean views. Rooms can have a microwave, a refrigerator, a closet, toiletries and a hair dryer, and some have a balcony or terrace. Air conditioning is part of the equipment in several rooms, and some bathrooms include a bathtub.

Some villas have several bedrooms: the 2 Bedroom Villa of 85 m² sleeps up to four guests, and the three-bedroom villa of 160 m² sleeps up to six. The Superior Villa of 40 m² sleeps up to three guests and has a partial ocean view.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, a garden and a terrace, and a shared lounge with a TV. Tours, car hire, a shuttle service, a taxi service and luggage storage are offered, and diving and fishing are offered too.

Lamai is a beach area on Koh Samui, where a sandy shore runs alongside a road lined with street-food stalls and small guesthouses. Its beach road and side streets hold a mix of small shops and guesthouses, and the beach, the markets and the temples of the area are all within a few kilometres of the resort.

Chaweng Noi Beach is 1.8 km away, a sandy bay beside Chaweng Beach. The Lamai Night Market, 2.4 km away, offers street food and local goods in the evening, and Wat Lamai, a Buddhist temple, is 2.5 km away. Hin Ta and Hin Yai, 4.5 km away, are rock formations on the coast known as Grandma and Grandpa Rocks. Samui Airport (USM) is 7 km away, on the same island. The Royal Samui Golf & Country Club and Silver Beach are close by, and car hire is offered at the resort.

A good day could begin at Chaweng Noi Beach, continue at the rocks of Hin Ta and Hin Yai and end at the Lamai Night Market. A quieter day can be spent on Silver Beach, close to the resort, and in the evening the night market and the local stalls make a simple end to the day.
