Khao Lak is a resort coast on the Andaman side of Phangnga province, a line of beaches backed by forested hills, with hotels set between the sand and the village streets. Bang Niang Beach is 50 m from La Vela Khao Lak, and the Bangnieng Afternoon Market nearby sells food and everyday goods in the afternoon.
