La-ong Lay

The rooms at La-ong Lay measure 20 to 36 m² and have king, super king, queen or double beds. Several look towards the sea or the beach, with partial sea views in some of the bungalows and beach views in others.

Capacity runs from two to three guests depending on the room, and several rooms have a balcony or terrace. Koh Phayam is a small island in the Andaman Sea, off the coast of Ranong province, and its beaches are spread around small villages, including Ao Mae Mai and Ao Moo. La-ong Lay sits on Aow Yai beach, so the sand is directly in front of the property and the beach is the first place to go on arrival.

The Hin Talu viewpoint is 2.8 km away and gives a view over the coast, while Ao Khao Kwai Beach (South), 2.2 km away, is one of the beaches along the island's southern shore. Koh Phayam Pier, 4.2 km away, is the island's ferry terminal, where boats from the mainland arrive, and Ao Mae Mai Beach is 4.1 km away.

A day could start with a swim at the beach in front of the property, continue to the Hin Talu viewpoint, and end with a meal at the restaurant. Canoeing, diving, snorkelling and windsurfing are all possible here, and tours can be arranged for those who want to go further out. A day here can be as simple as a swim, a walk to the viewpoint and a long lunch by the sea, with the Ao Khao Kwai beaches a short trip away.
