La Flora Resort Patong

The rooms at La Flora Resort Patong are pool villas, suites and deluxe rooms, several of them with a view of the pool and one with a garden view. Each room has a private bathroom with bathrobes, a hair dryer, a mirror and toiletries, and the rooms have an electric kettle as well.

Rooms can also have air conditioning, an in-room safe, a desk, ironing facilities, a mini bar, a refrigerator, free bottled water and a coffee or tea maker, and some have a balcony or terrace. Some rooms have a whirlpool bathtub, and several overlook the pool. Depending on the room, beds are a King bed or a double bed, and the rooms sleep between two and four guests.

La Flora Resort Patong is in Patong, the main beach resort on the west coast of Phuket, and Patong Beach is a short walk away. The area has a lively character: the beach is busy by day, and in the evening the streets around Bangla Road fill with bars and clubs.

Jungceylon Shopping Center is close to the resort, and the Patong night market is nearby. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is 7 km away and is one of Phuket's most revered Buddhist temples, while Big Buddha Phuket, a large hilltop statue, is 7.8 km away. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with an evening show, is 6.9 km away, and Phuket International Airport is 24 km from the resort. Karon and Kata beaches lie a short drive south of Patong.

Patong Beach, Bangla Road and the night market are all within a short walk of the resort, so an evening out needs no car. Most trips from Patong are made by road, since Phuket is linked to the mainland by bridge and the airport is reached by car or airport transfer. A good day can start on Patong Beach in the morning, continue to Wat Chalong, and end at the Big Buddha before returning to Patong for the evening.
