Wat Mongkol Nimit, a pagoda 400 m away, and the Lard Yai Sunday Night Market, 350 m away, are close enough to walk to. Phuket Town's local bus station is also nearby for trips out of the old town, while Big Buddha Phuket and Wat Chalong are further out and are a drive away.

A good day could start with the Phuket Philatelic Museum and the Peranakan Museum, followed by a walk along Thalang Road and an evening at the Sunday night market. For a change of scene, Patong Beach is 10.7 km away and is the island's best-known beach area for nightlife. Kata Beach and Karon Beach are also reachable by road from the property.
