The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple complex reached by a long staircase, is 5.2 km away, and Noppharathara Beach, a sandy stretch on the Ao Nang coast, is 10.2 km away. Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs, is reached by longtail boat from Ao Nang. Closer to the guesthouse, the Krabi Weekend Night Market and the Ban Talat Kao fresh market give a good view of local food and everyday life in the town.

Boat trips to the islands, such as Poda Island and the Hong Islands, leave from the coast around Ao Nang and Krabi. Ao Nang Beach, a busy beach town, is the main hub for the boats. Back in town, the Krabi Weekend Night Market is a fitting end to a day out, and the temple makes a good morning start before heading to the sea.
