Krabi Heritage Hotel

Around the hotel, Ao Nang Beach Pier is where boats leave for trips to the nearby islands, and the Ao Nang Night Market, 1.3 km away, is a night market in town. Railay Beach, 2.3 km away, is reached only by boat, with its limestone cliffs and beaches, and Phra Nang Cave is a beach cave on the same peninsula. For a change of scene, Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15.1 km away, is a hilltop Buddhist temple reached by a long flight of steps. A good day out combines a morning boat trip from the pier to Railay, with time on the beach, and a visit to the temple later on. Emerald Pool, a forest pool in Khao Phanom Bencha National Park, is a longer trip by road. Boats to the islands can be stopped by rough sea in the rainy months.
