Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a long strip of restaurants, tour offices and guesthouses behind the sand. The resort is about 250 m from Noppharathara Beach, so the sea is a short walk away, and beach days, boat trips and an evening stroll are all close at hand.
Ao Nang Beach is 1.1 km away. The limestone cliffs of Railay, 4.3 km away, are reached by longtail boat from the beach, and Poda Island can also be visited by longtail boat. Railay has no road access, so the longtail boat is the only way there. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 15.3 km away, is a hillside temple complex reached by a long stairway, and the Ao-Nang Landmark Night Market is a short walk from the resort.
A day here could start on Noppharathara Beach, continue with a longtail boat trip to Railay or Poda Island, and end at the night market, where food stalls line the lanes. Back at the resort, the indoor and outdoor pools and the poolside bar make a good place to relax after a day on the water. The night market is open in the evening, so it fits neatly after a boat trip.
