Kosol Place Aonang

Several rooms at Kosol Place Aonang look onto a mountain or a garden. Depending on the room, you can find air conditioning, blackout curtains, a flat-screen TV, a microwave and a refrigerator, and some rooms also have a balcony or terrace.

Rooms sleep two or three guests. Extra beds depend on the room you choose and carry an additional charge, and a baby cot can be requested directly from the property, subject to availability. Several rooms also have a mosquito net, and some offer a coffee and tea maker and free bottled water. Rooms with a mountain view and rooms with a garden view are both part of the offer, so the view depends on the room you book.

Ao Nang is a resort town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, with a long beach road lined with restaurants, tour offices and piers for longtail boats. Limestone cliffs rise behind the bay, and many of the beaches and islands along this coast are reached mainly by boat. Most of the restaurants and tour offices are concentrated along that road, and street stalls and small shops line it in the evenings.

Ao Nang Beach and Noppharathara Beach are both 3 km from the guesthouse, and Railay Beach, on a peninsula reached mainly by longtail boat, is 4.3 km away. Phra Nang Cave, a beach set among limestone cliffs on the Railay peninsula, is one of the best-known spots there. Poda Island, a small island with a beach, is also reached by boat from Ao Nang.

A good day could start at the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), a hilltop temple 12.3 km away reached by a long staircase, and end with a boat trip to Poda Island or to the beaches of Railay. Krabi International Airport is 16.5 km from the guesthouse, and Ao Nang is on the mainland, so the road from the airport needs no boat.
