KoHabitat Samui

The rooms at KoHabitat Samui are dormitory-style, and several of them have a shared bathroom. They range from a single bunk bed in a mixed dormitory of 180 m², with air conditioning, to a 12-bed mixed dormitory for up to eight guests, with a kitchenette and kitchenware.

Across the hostel, rooms accommodate from one guest up to eight, and the beds are single, bunk or part of a larger shared room, depending on the room you choose.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, and the hostel offers an airport transfer, a shuttle service and tours, with ticket services available as well.

Daily housekeeping and a laundry service are provided, and lockers are available for guests. The shared lounge has a TV, and there is also a game room, a salon, a garden and a terrace. Air conditioning is provided in the public areas.

Bo Phut is a village on the coast of Koh Samui, with old wooden houses along its streets and a fishing heritage that still shapes the waterfront. It has a different feel from the long resort beaches of the island, and it offers a quieter village atmosphere for travellers who want to stay close to the village rather than the resort strips. Its narrow streets and wooden houses make walking around the centre of the village a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.

The Fisherman's Village Walking Street is 1.6 km from the hostel and comes alive in the evenings with street-food stalls and shops. Wat Bo Phut, a village temple, is 1.3 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue, is 3.6 km away. Samui Airport (USM) is 2.7 km away, and the Big Buddha Pier is 2.4 km away.

A simple day could start at the Big Buddha, then continue to Wat Bo Phut and return to the walking street for the evening. The island is reached by air or by sea, so Samui Airport is the closest airport and the boat is the link from the mainland. Haad Bophut beach is a quieter option for an afternoon, with a village atmosphere close by.
