Ao Muang Beach, Maa Bay and Coconut Beach are other beaches along the island's coast, and the 2 Rocks dive site lies in the water nearby. On the mainland, the Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot) is a pool fed by a hot spring in the forest, while Trang Airport (TST) is 46.1 km away for travellers coming by air.

A day on the island can begin with a swim at Ao Na Ko, continue with snorkelling at the spot offshore, and end at the spa with its massage, sauna and hot spring bath. Diving and boat trips are also possible. In the rainy season, rough seas can affect boat crossings to the island, so it helps to allow some margin on the journey.
