Khaosok Treehouse Resort

Rooms at Khaosok Treehouse Resort measure from 24 to 72 m² and have capacities from three to eleven guests, across bungalows, treehouse-style rooms, family rooms and suites. Several have a nature view, and the Family Suite overlooks the pool.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and every room has a shower. Khao Sok is an inland district of Surat Thani province in southern Thailand, known for its limestone mountains, rainforest and a large lake. The area draws visitors for its forest scenery and wildlife, and the resort is 750 m from Khao Sok National Park, the main reason to stay here. The setting is forest and river rather than beach.

Nearby are the Wing Hin waterfall, the Mae Yai waterfall, an elephant sanctuary and the Khao Sok Valley Viewpoint, a lookout over the valley. Monkey Hole is 600 m away and AOR Pharmacy 150 m, so the basics are close. The nearest airport is Surat Thani Airport, 72.4 km away, and the resort offers a shuttle service and tours that can be arranged.

The park, the waterfalls and the viewpoints all lie within a few kilometres of the resort. A day can start with a jungle trek in the national park, continue with a canoe trip on the river nearby, and end at one of the waterfalls. Massage and a sauna at the spa, or a quieter afternoon in the garden, make a good contrast after a long walk in the forest. Visitors who stay in the area for several days can take in the park, the waterfalls and the valley viewpoint in turn.
