Khuk Khak Beach is 1.9 km away, and Bang Niang Beach is also close, while the International Tsunami Museum, 2.2 km away, tells the story of the tsunami that struck this coast. The Ton Chong Fa Waterfall lies 4.6 km away in the hills, and the Khao Lak Bus Station is nearby for public transport.

A day out can combine the Tsunami Museum with a walk along the beach and a stop at the Bangnieng Afternoon Market. Further away, Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park is 7 km from the resort, and Similan National Park, 12.7 km away, is reached by boat from the coast. Snorkelling trips to the islands are a common way to spend a day from this coast.
