Khao Sok National Park is 1.8 km from the camp and is the main attraction of the area, with rainforest trails, waterfalls and Cheow Lan Lake, a reservoir inside the park. Closer by, the Khao Sok Valley Viewpoint is 550 m away, a lookout over the valley and the forest canopy below. Wat Tham Panthurat, a Buddhist temple in the forest hills, is also nearby, and the Elephant Sanctuary lies about 1.6 km away.

For a first day, the national park trails and the valley viewpoint are the natural starting points, and the waterfalls and the elephant sanctuary make good half-day options. Surat Thani Airport is 73.1 km from the camp, so the last stretch of the journey is by road, and the camp sits between the forest trails and the valley viewpoint.
