Khao Sok Jungle Resort

Both bungalows at Khao Sok Jungle Resort have a mountain view and a balcony or terrace. Each measures 28 m² and sleeps up to two guests, and both have a shower and toiletries. One bungalow has a double bed, and the other has two single beds.

Both also have a fan and a mosquito net, and the bungalows sit in the rainforest, about 2 km from Khao Sok National Park. Guests can spend the day on the balcony or terrace, with the mountain view in front of them.

The resort has a restaurant and a garden, along with a massage service, a hot spring bath, canoeing, fishing, hiking and karaoke. Tours can be arranged, and bicycle rental, laundry service and dry cleaning are also offered.

For getting around, there is an airport transfer, a shuttle service and a taxi service. Free parking is available, and on-site parking is also offered. Luggage storage and daily housekeeping are offered too.

Khao Sok (Suratthani) lies inland in Surat Thani province, in southern Thailand, among the hills around Khao Sok National Park. This is a forest setting rather than a beach one, so the days here are built around walks, wildlife and the park itself. Most of the surroundings are forest and hills, and the national park is the main sight in the area.

Khao Sok National Park is 2 km from the resort, and its rainforest is the main draw for visitors. Inside the park are walking trails and Cheow Lan Lake, a reservoir among limestone cliffs. Nearby, the Khao Sok Valley Viewpoint, 2.1 km away, looks out over the forest, and Wing Hin and Mae Yai are two waterfalls in the area. Surat Thani Airport is 71.4 km away and Phuket International Airport is 91.4 km away, so the last part of the journey is by road, as the resort is inland. The park is the main reason many visitors come to this part of the province, and the lake and the viewpoint are the two places to see first.

A day here can start early with a walk into the national park and a visit to the viewpoint over the valley, then return to the resort in the afternoon for the hot spring bath, a massage or a barbecue on the grounds.
