The Night Market lies 2.4 km away, and the serpent-themed water sculpture, Song Thale Park and the Songkhla ferry terminal are also in the area. Khao Tang Kuan, a hill with a lift to its upper station, rises above the town.

A good day could begin at the old fortress, continue at the Songkhla National Museum and finish at the Night Market in the evening, when the stalls are open. Hat Yai International Airport, 35.1 km away, is the nearest airport, and the hotel offers an airport transfer as well as a paid shuttle service. Both sights are within a few kilometres of the hotel.
