KC Kamala Guesthouse

KC Kamala Guesthouse has rooms for two and three guests, from a 26 m² Deluxe Room with a private bathroom to a 20 m² Double Deluxe Room with a balcony or terrace. Across the property, rooms can have air conditioning, a shower and a refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms.

The 26 m² and 20 m² rooms each have one double bed, and extra beds depend on the room you choose. Extra beds are available at an additional charge, and children aged 0 to 1 can stay free when they use existing bedding.

Kamala is a village area on Phuket's Andaman coast, known for a long sandy beach and a slower pace than the nightlife of neighbouring Patong. Around the beach the lanes hold small guesthouses, local shops and a few cafés, and the village feels quieter than the island's busiest resort areas. The guesthouse sits about 310 m from the sand, so the beach is the natural first stop for a day here.

Baan Kamala Temple is a village temple in the Kamala area, close to the guesthouse, and the Kamala Night Market, 650 m away, sells food and local goods in the evenings. Phuket FantaSea, the cultural theme park with evening shows, is also quite close by. Patong Beach, 4.9 km away, is the island's best-known beach resort area, and the hilltop Big Buddha, 13.9 km away, has wide views over Phuket.

A good day could begin on the beach at Kamala, then move to the Big Buddha in the afternoon and to the evening market afterwards. Phuket International Airport is 18.2 km away, so the drive from the airport is the first leg of a trip that can easily combine the beaches, the temples and the markets of the island.
