Kata Sea Breeze Resort

Rooms at Kata Sea Breeze Resort include pool-view rooms, a garden-view room and a sea-view room with a bunk bed, and several of the rooms have a whirlpool bathtub. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, an in-room safe, blackout curtains, a hair dryer, a shower, toiletries and towels, and some rooms also have a minibar or a refrigerator.

The Splendid Suite and the One-Bedroom Suite both measure 88 m² and overlook the pool. The Family Breeze Suite and the Family Room measure 52 m² each, the Family Room has a balcony or terrace and a dining table, and the Sea Breeze Room with Bunk Bed measures 44 m². Some rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups.

Guests can use an outdoor and an indoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool and a poolside bar. For relaxation there is a spa and sauna, massage, a solarium, a fitness centre and a shared lounge with a TV area, while billiards, table tennis and a library are also available.

Restaurants, a coffee shop and a buffet breakfast are on site. Tours can be arranged, there is an airport transfer, and luggage storage and laundry service are available.

The resort has a kids club, a playground and babysitting service. It is wheelchair accessible, and there is free parking on site and internet access. Business facilities are also available, and the front desk is open 24 hours.

Kata is one of the busier beach areas on Phuket island, built around a wide sandy bay with cafés, restaurants and shops along the road behind the sand. Kata Beach is 250 m from the resort, and Kata Noi Beach lies a little further along the coast. Kata Beach Community Park, a public park beside the sand, is a short walk from the resort. It works well for a beach holiday with the evening street life close by.

Karon Beach is the next bay along the coast, and the Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hilltop, is 1.6 km away. Kata View Point, a viewpoint a short walk from the resort, looks along the coast. Wat Chalong, the best-known temple on the island, is 5 km away, and Patong Beach, the island's best-known nightlife beach, is 7.4 km away. Reaching Wat Chalong or Patong usually means a taxi or a hired vehicle.

A good day could start with a swim at Kata Beach, continue to the Big Buddha on its hill, and end with dinner and a look at the Kata Open Market, a short walk from the resort. The market sells fresh food, fruit, snacks and souvenirs.
