Phuket FantaSea, a large theme park with an evening cultural show, is further away on the island.

A day can start with a swim at Kata Beach, continue with a visit to the Big Buddha, and finish with a walk along the sand as the sun goes down over the sea. A second day can be spent on the quieter Kata Noi Beach and at Wat Chalong, one of the most revered temples on the island.
