The streets nearby have street-food stalls, small shops and a few pharmacies, and the hotel is about 660 m from the sand.

Phuket Big Buddha, the large white statue on a hilltop, is 1.4 km from the hotel, and the Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is 4.5 km away. It is one of the island's most important Buddhist temples. The hilltop setting makes the statue visible from a distance. The Karon Night Market, an evening market with street food, is a short distance away.

Phuket International Airport is 31.5 km away, so the journey from the airport is made by road. A day could start with a swim at Kata Beach and continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong in the afternoon. Kata Noi Beach, a smaller bay, is also nearby, and the evenings can be spent at the night market or in the streets around the beaches.
