Kata Hi View Resort

Kata Hi View Resort has standard rooms, bungalows, houses and cabins, with capacities from three guests up to eleven. The bungalows have a partial ocean or sea view, and the Standard Room sleeps up to three guests with a choice of bed set-ups.

Air conditioning is in the Standard Room and both bungalows, and the Standard Room also has a private pool and a balcony or terrace. The Standard Bungalow has a bathtub. The Deluxe Bungalow has a balcony or terrace, a microwave and a refrigerator. The cabins and the Room Deluxe Superior sleep up to eleven guests, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Kata Hi View Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, with a garden on the grounds. Restaurants, a 24-hour front desk and a salon are on site, and massage treatments are offered.

Kata is a sandy bay on the Phuket coast, with a lively beach area behind it where cafés, shops and street-food stalls line the roads. Kata Hi View Resort sits in this beach area, close to the sand and the local shops. Just to the south, Kata Noi Beach is a smaller stretch of sand, while Nai Harn Beach lies further south and is a popular place for a longer beach day.

Kata Beach is about 100 m from the resort, while Karon Beach, a long stretch of sand between Kata and Patong, is 1.8 km away. Phuket Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hill, is 2.1 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the best-known temples on the island, is 5.4 km away. Phuket International Airport is 33 km away, so the last part of the journey from the airport is by road.

A day could start with a swim at Kata Beach, then continue to Phuket Big Buddha and on to Wat Chalong. In the evening, the Karon Night Market offers street food and shopping, and the roads of Kata have a relaxed mix of cafés and shops. Kata Noi Beach is also close by, if you want to see another stretch of sand.
