Kata Beach Guesthouse

All rooms at Kata Beach Guesthouse have air conditioning and a balcony or terrace, and free bottled water is provided in both rooms. Each room sleeps up to two guests in one double bed.

The Standard Double Bed with Balcony measures 18 m² and has a street view. The Superior Double Room with Balcony has a garden view, a shower with toiletries, a hair dryer, a TV with satellite and cable channels, and a refrigerator.

Kata is one of the main beach areas of Phuket, a bay of soft sand with restaurants and small shops in the streets behind it. The guesthouse sits in this stretch, with the sea a short walk away and the Kata Night Market 300 m off, so the beach and the evening market are both within a short walk.

Karon Beach lies between Patong and Kata, and Patong itself, one of Phuket's best-known beach resorts, is about 7 km away. Big Buddha, the large white statue on a hill with wide views over the island, is 1.4 km away, and the Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is 4.7 km away. Nai Harn, a sandy bay further along the coast, is reached by road. Because the sights are spread across the island, a car, a motorbike or a taxi is the practical way to reach them. Each of these beaches has its own stretch of sand and its own restaurants, so a day can easily move from one to the next by road.

Phuket International Airport is about 32 km away. A full day could begin with the Big Buddha and the temple in Chalong, then return to Kata for the evening market and a walk along the sand.
