Kantiang Bay View Resort

Every room at Kantiang Bay View Resort has a private bathroom, and the rooms measure between 20 and 30 m² and sleep two or three guests. Garden views appear in several rooms, sea views in two of them, and one room has a mountain view. Air conditioning is part of many of the rooms, and a few have a balcony or terrace.

The family room with a double bed and a queen bed sleeps up to three guests, and the suite has a balcony or terrace and a seating area. Several rooms also have a refrigerator and a coffee and tea maker, and some bathrooms come with a shower and toiletries.

The resort stands in the Kantiang Bay area of Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province where beaches, forested hills and small fishing villages follow one another along the coast. Koh Lanta has no airport, so the last part of the trip from the mainland is by ferry, and the sights are spread across the island, and its beaches run along the length of the coast.

Next to the resort stands the Statue of Koh Lanta, a local landmark, and the nearest beach, Ba Kan Tiang Beach, is 400 m away on the bay. Khlong Chak Waterfall is 4.2 km away, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park is 4.3 km away, with its forest and protected coastline. Lanta Old Town, a traditional fishing settlement, is 4.4 km away, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a limestone cave in the hills, is 3.9 km away.

A good day out combines the waterfall, the national park and the old town, with the cave on the way back. Both the waterfall and the cave lie inland, away from the beach. For the sea, the dive centres near the resort are a natural starting point for diving and snorkelling. Boat trips depend on sea conditions, so the diving and snorkelling days can shift with the weather.
