Kanok Buri Resort

The rooms at Kanok Buri Resort include garden-view villas, Superior Jacuzzi rooms and a Balcony Room, with bathtubs or whirlpool bathtubs in several of them. Family villas sleep up to five guests, and some rooms have a choice of bed set-ups. The Family Garden View room measures 94 m² and has a whirlpool bathtub in its private bathroom, and the Balcony Room measures 37 m² and sleeps up to three guests.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a hair dryer, toiletries and towels, and some have satellite or cable channels. The Family Jacuzzi Villa and the Superior Jacuzzi Room Twin Bed are both air-conditioned, and several rooms have a whirlpool bathtub in the private bathroom.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a private beach and a garden on the grounds. Restaurants, a bar and room service cover meals and drinks, with a la carte dishes, international cuisine and vegetarian dishes, and food delivery is also offered.

Concierge, luggage storage, safety deposit boxes and daily housekeeping are available, and the resort is family and child friendly, with kids' meals on the menu.

Tours, car hire and a taxi service are offered, and there is an airport transfer and free parking on site. Air conditioning covers the public areas, non-smoking rooms are available, rooms can have an in-room safe box, and coffee and tea are served in the restaurant.

Kanok Buri Resort lies in the Nathon area of Koh Samui, close to the village of Lipa Noi. Nathon is the island's main town, and the roads around the resort run through village houses and past temples on the way to the coast. Samui Airport is 15.4 km away on the island itself, so the last stretch of any trip is by road.

Wat Samuthra Ram, a pagoda, and the Samui Monkey Center, a zoo focused on monkeys, are both close by. Pang Ka Beach (2.3 km) is a beach in the area, and the Coconut Museum (3.6 km) tells the story of the coconut, a crop that has long shaped life on the island. Nathon Pier Ko Samui (4.5 km) is the ferry pier, and Na Muang Waterfall (6.8 km) is an inland waterfall reached by road.

For a day out, combine Na Muang Waterfall with a visit to the Coconut Museum, then return to the resort, where the garden, the outdoor swimming pool and the resort's own private beach are waiting. The pier is the way to boats for other islands and the mainland, and the onsite bar and restaurant are there for the evening. The Samui Monkey Center is a zoo focused on monkeys, and it sits in the same Lipa Noi area as the resort.
