Kanita Resort and Villa

The rooms at Kanita Resort and Villa look out over the river, the garden or the water. They include a 52 m² Superior Triple with a double bed and a single bed, a Standard Villa with a king bed for two, and a Family Deluxe that sleeps up to five guests with a choice of bed set-ups.

Several rooms come with air conditioning and a private entrance. The Standard Twin measures 42 m² and has a garden view, the Family Room measures 55 m² and sleeps up to six guests, and the DELUXE HOUSE WATER VIEW has a water view and sleeps up to three. A single room for one guest is also available.

Kanita Resort and Villa has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a poolside bar. For meals there is a restaurant, a coffee shop, room service and BBQ facilities, and a shared kitchen is available too.

The 24-hour front desk is open round the clock, and there is a laundry service, a babysitting service and a playground. Tours, car hire, bicycle rental, fishing and hiking are offered, and express check-in and check-out are available as well.

There is an airport transfer, a shuttle service and a taxi service. Parking is free on site, and valet parking is available too. Express check-in and check-out are part of the service.

Karon is one of Phuket's beach areas, with a long stretch of sand, cafés and restaurants along the road behind the beach, and a mix of markets and small shops. Kanita Resort and Villa is on Patak Road in Karon, so the beach, the markets and the temples are all part of the same neighbourhood.

Karon Beach is 1.4 km from the property, and Kata Beach, the quieter bay next door, is a short distance further along the coast. The Big Buddha on the Nakkerd Hills is 2.5 km away, a large white statue on a hilltop with views over the island. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 3.4 km away and is the island's most revered temple. Patong Beach, the liveliest beach town on Phuket, is 4.5 km away.

Phuket International Airport is 29.1 km away. For a full day, combine a morning on Karon Beach with a visit to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, then head to the Karon Night Market in the evening, where street food and stalls fill the market. The resort offers a taxi service and an airport transfer for the trip to and from the airport, and Patong, the liveliest beach town on the island, is the place for bars and nightlife.
