Kamala Orchid Guesthouse

Kamala Orchid Guesthouse offers deluxe, superior, twin and classic double rooms, and most of them have air conditioning and wireless internet access. The rooms with a city view have a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator, and each of them measures 18 m².

The Double Room looks onto a courtyard and measures 25 m². The Classic Double rooms measure 35 m² and sleep up to three guests, with air conditioning and wireless internet access. Beds include king beds, double beds and a pair of single beds, and some room types sleep up to five guests, so larger groups can stay together.

Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with an evening show, is 1 km from the hostel, and the Kamala Night Market is in the village nearby. Patong Beach, the island's best-known resort area, is 5.1 km away, with Bangla Road and its nightlife close to it. Phuket International Airport is 18.2 km away, the closest airport to the hostel and the main gateway for travellers arriving by air.

A good day could start with a swim at Kamala, continue to the Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 13 km away, one of the most revered Buddhist temples on the island, and end with the evening show at Phuket FantaSea. Big Buddha Phuket, a white statue on a hill, is a further stop for views over the island, and the Kamala Night Market is an easy evening stop on the way back.
