Journey Hostel

Journey Hostel offers double rooms, twin rooms and rooms with two beds, and several of them have a shared bathroom. Rooms can also have air conditioning, linens, free bottled water and a private entrance, and ground floor rooms are available.

The double room and the twin room each measure 10 m² and have a garden view. The twin room also has a balcony or terrace. Beds include a queen bed, a pair of single beds and a double bed, and rooms sleep two or three guests.

Journey Hostel is in Saladan, the village around the ferry pier on Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province in southern Thailand. The pier is 100 m away, and a pharmacy, a 7 Eleven convenience store and a couple of dive centres are within a few hundred metres. The village also has a health centre and a police station close by.

Kantiang Bay is 750 m away and Klong Dao Beach is 1.6 km away, while Mu Ko Lanta National Park and Khlong Chak Waterfall lie 20.8 km away. Lanta Old Town, the island's historic settlement, makes a longer excursion. Krabi International Airport is 50.4 km away, and the crossing from the mainland is by boat.

A good day can start at the pier, continue to the bays and end at the street-food stalls in the evening. A day trip to the national park or the waterfall gives a different side of the island. The national park covers forest and coastline, and the waterfall is a natural stop for a half-day trip. Diving is another draw, with dive centres close to the village. Boats to and from the mainland leave from the same pier, so the village is a convenient place to start a day.
