The area has several hot springs, including Krabi Hot Springs, 8.2 km away, and the Emerald Pool (Sa Morakot), a spring-fed pool of green water in the forest, is 14.7 km away. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) lies 29.6 km away, reached by a long climb up the hillside, and Railay Beach, with its limestone cliffs, is reached only by longtail boat from Ao Nang.

Having a car makes the area easier to explore, and free parking is available at the property. Krabi International Airport lies 22.9 km away, so a day could start with the hot springs near Khlong Thom, continue to the Emerald Pool and end with a boat trip from Ao Nang. The hot spring waterfall at Khlong Thom is a natural stop on that route.
