Jamesbond Bungalow Koh Panyee

Every room at Jamesbond Bungalow Koh Panyee has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower, a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle, and towels and toiletries are provided. A fan is also fitted in the rooms.

The rooms include a double room and a deluxe double or twin room with a sea view. Both sleep up to three guests, and the deluxe double or twin room overlooks the sea.

Guests can use the shared kitchen, the shared lounge and TV area, and a terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is WiFi in the public areas too.

Koh Panyee is a small island in Phang Nga Bay, off the coast of Phang Nga province, and its village is built over the water on stilts. The Panyee Darussalam Mosque stands a short walk from the property, and Ko Panyi Pier, the ferry terminal, is 350 m away, so the boat link to the island is close to the bungalows. Boats are the way to move between the islands of the bay.

Just beyond the village, the bay opens up to a landscape of limestone karsts. Tam Lod-Thalu Mountain Kayaking is 3.7 km away, with paddling routes through sea caves, and James Bond Island, the limestone island made famous by a Bond film, is 6.5 km away.

A good day could start with paddling around the island's lagoons, then a boat trip to James Bond Island, with tours arranged at the property. Canoeing and non-motorised water sports let you explore the bay at your own pace, and fishing is also offered, so the day can include a line in the water. Massage at the on-site spa makes a good end to a day on the water. In the monsoon months the sea can be rougher, which can affect boat trips.
