Ao Nang is a beach town on the Andaman coast of Krabi province, built along a long sandy bay with longtail boats moored along the shore. The hotel sits on Aonang Soi 9, a side street rather than the beachfront, so the street-food stalls and massage shops of the beach road are close at hand without being right on the doorstep.

Ao Nang Beach is 1.7 km away, and Mountain Buddha Temple, a Buddhist temple on the hill above the town, is 750 m away. Railay is reached only by longtail boat from the pier at Ao Nang Beach, and Phra Nang Cave is near it; Poda and Tup islands are also day trips by boat. Krabi International Airport is 17.2 km away, and Tiger Cave Temple, a hillside temple inland, is 13.6 km away.

A day could start on Ao Nang Beach and continue by longtail boat to Railay, whose limestone cliffs and beaches can only be reached from the water, before a trip to Poda or Tup island. For a quieter afternoon, Mountain Buddha Temple is close enough to walk to from the hotel, and the evening pace of the town is set by the beach road, where the boats are moored. In the rainy months, rough seas can stop boat trips to the islands.
