Idyllic Concept Resort

Idyllic Concept Resort offers rooms and suites ranging from a 10 m² room with a city view to a hilltop room for up to eleven guests. Between them are garden-view studios and cabanas, pool-view and sea-view suites, and a Junior Suite of 75 m². Rooms can come with air conditioning, bathrobes and toiletries, and some have a mini bar and a refrigerator.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a bathtub, and some have a balcony or terrace. The Premier Pool View, at 45 m², and the Junior Suite Pool View with Bathtub, at 75 m², have a pool view. The Ocean Junior Suite, at 42 m², has a sea view.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, along with a fitness centre, a spa with a sauna, massage beds and a foot bath. Restaurants, a poolside bar, a coffee shop, a kitchen and room service cover the meals, and the restaurant serves buffet breakfast as well as a la carte dishes.

Activities include canoeing, diving, fishing, snorkelling and non-motorised water sports, and tours can be arranged. Other services include luggage storage, laundry, dry cleaning, daily housekeeping, an airport transfer, a garden and a terrace, and English and Thai are spoken. The resort also has an elevator, facilities for disabled guests and a kids meal option, and family rooms are offered.

Sunrise Beach is on Ko Lipe, a small island in Tarutao National Marine Park off the coast of Satun province in southern Thailand. The island is reached by boat, and its beaches and sea views set the pace of a stay here. Pattaya Beach lies close by as well, so the stretch around the resort holds several beaches within a short distance.

The Walking Street, the island's main street, is 700 m from the resort and is lined with shops and eateries, while the Ko Lipe Ferry Terminal, 800 m away, is where boats from the mainland arrive. Karma Beach, 1000 m away, and Sunset Beach, 1.3 km away, are other beaches on the island. Koh Adang, another island in the national park, lies 6.5 km away.

A simple day here starts with a swim at Sunrise Beach, then a walk along the Walking Street and a visit to Karma Beach or Sunset Beach. Tours to the nearby islands can be arranged for a day out, and snorkelling can be combined with time on the sand. In the monsoon months, rough seas can halt boat crossings to and from the mainland, so the boat schedule can change from one day to the next.
