The island packs beaches, boats and a busy village atmosphere into a small area, and most of it is explored on foot or by boat.

Ton Sai Bay is 300 m from the hotel and has the village pier, a sandy beach and boats for the nearby islands. The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, 900 m away, is a hilltop lookout over the isthmus and is reached on foot. Long Beach, 1.7 km away, is a long stretch of sand that is reached by boat. Krabi International Airport is 45.9 km away on the mainland, so the last part of the trip to the island is by boat.

A good day could start with the climb to the viewpoint, then a longtail boat trip to Ao Maya, the bay on Phi Phi Leh, and to Viking Cave, a limestone cliff cave in the same island group. Snorkelling and canoeing are also possible from the hotel's private beach, and back at the hotel the outdoor pool and the poolside bar offer a slower afternoon.
