Hyatt Regency Koh Samui

The rooms at Hyatt Regency Koh Samui include one-bedroom pool villas, Regency and Executive suites and rooms with an ocean, garden or partial sea view. Every room has a private bathroom and a bathtub, and several overlook the ocean or the beach, while others face the gardens. Several rooms also include club access.

Rooms can have air conditioning, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a mini bar and a balcony or terrace, and bathrooms may come with bathrobes, toiletries and a hair dryer. Rooms accommodate up to four guests, and the twin room sleeps three, with one of the pool villas measuring 160 m².

Hyatt Regency Koh Samui is on Koh Samui, the island in the Gulf of Thailand that is reached by air or by ferry from the mainland. The coast has several beaches, and the hotel has its own private beach, with Choeng Mon Beach, 550 m away, the nearest of them. The setting centres on the resort, its pools and the sea rather than on town life.

Samui Airport (USM) is 2 km from the hotel, on the island itself, so the last leg of the trip needs no boat. Nora Beach, 1.3 km away, is a second beach to explore, and the Big Buddha statue, 2.7 km off, is one of the island's best-known sights. Wat Laem Suwannaram, a Buddhist temple, is also nearby, and the Night Market, which sells street food and local goods, is a little further on.

A good day could start with a swim at Choeng Mon Beach, continue to the Big Buddha in the afternoon and end with an evening at the Night Market. Nora Beach is a second option for a beach day. The Night Market is an easy evening trip from the hotel, and the hotel's pools make a good place to finish the day after a full day of sightseeing.
