Hugger Guest House

Hugger Guest House has rooms from mixed dormitory beds to private rooms for up to four guests. A 30 m² double room has a private bathroom and a double bed. A 30 m² deluxe family room pairs a bunk bed with a king bed. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and air conditioning is fitted in several of them.

Guests who prefer a shared room can book a bunk bed in one of the eight-bed mixed dormitories, which measure 40 and 50 m². A 30 m² triple room has a single bed and a bunk bed for up to three guests, and the family room has a bunk bed and a single bed. A double room with two queen beds and a private entrance is also available.

Free Wi-Fi covers the rooms and public areas, and the property has free parking on site, with bicycle parking and parking nearby. Guests can use luggage storage, lockers and safety deposit boxes, and private check-in and check-out are offered. Daily housekeeping, a laundry service and dry cleaning are also available.

Guests can use a game room, a shared lounge with a TV, a terrace and a shared kitchen. A snack bar, a vending machine, fruit and snacks and a convenience store are available too. Tours can be arranged, English and Thai are spoken, and there is 24-hour security and a doctor or nurse on call. Hugger Guest House sits on Ratsada Road in the old part of Phuket, where Sino-Portuguese shophouses line the streets. It is a neighbourhood for walking between museums, temples, shops and night markets, and the historic quarter of Phuket Old Town starts close by.

The Thavorn Phuket Museum is 100 m away, and the Peranakan Museum, which covers the Peranakan heritage of the island, is also within a short walk. The Lard Yai Sunday Night Market and the Plein Poa Night Market are both nearby for street food in the evening. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 7 km away and is one of Phuket's most important Buddhist temples, and Patong Beach is 10.4 km away.

Walking is the easiest way to explore the old town, where the museums and shophouses sit close together, and the bus terminal 750 m away links the area to other parts of the island. Phuket International Airport is 27 km away. A day here could begin with the museums and shophouses of the old town, continue to Wat Chalong, and end with dinner at one of the night markets, which are a short walk from the guesthouse and open in the evening, so the day can end where it started.
