Wat Phraya Yat Rue Wat Pak Ngam, a pagoda 200 m away, is one of the temples nearby, and the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum is also within walking distance. The King Rama II Memorial Park, 1 km away, honours the king, and the Maeklong Railway Market, 4.8 km away, is a longer trip where stalls are cleared from the tracks when the train passes through.

A good day here starts with a walk along the canals and a visit to the temples, followed by the dessert museum. In the afternoon you can head to the floating market, and the Maeklong Railway Market makes a worthwhile trip for a different kind of market. Walking is the easiest way to see the temples and the dessert museum, since both are close to the hotel and to each other.
