The rooms at Horizon Hotel are air-conditioned, and most have a private bathroom, a TV and a city view. Rooms measure 28 m² or 42 m², and the Suite measures 36 m². Surat Thani Airport is 19.6 km away, and the ferry terminal for the night ferry to Koh Tao is 100 m from the hotel, so the island is a natural onward trip for travellers heading south.

For a longer day out, Wat Phra Borommathat Chaiya Worawihan is 30.7 km away in Chaiya, a historic temple town in the same province, and the Tapee River Viewpoint is a quick outing close to the hotel, a good place for an early look at the water and the boats on the river.
